Bega Valley Business is pleased to announce the appointment of Renee Pearce as its inaugural Executive Officer, bringing extensive experience in business leadership, stakeholder engagement, project delivery and regional economic development to the role.
With a career spanning small business, tourism, events, and industry advocacy, Renee is passionate about supporting regional communities and strengthening opportunities for local businesses to connect, collaborate and grow.
As Executive Officer, Renee will work closely with BVB members, business leaders and stakeholders to further the organisation’s commitment to building a strong, connected and resilient business community across the Bega Valley.
“The Bega Valley has an incredibly diverse business community, from family-owned enterprises and primary industries through to tourism operators, professional services, retailers, creatives and emerging entrepreneurs,” Renee said.
“What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to bring people together, strengthen relationships across the region and help create an environment where businesses feel supported, connected and represented.”
Bega Valley Business plays an important role in advocating for local businesses, facilitating meaningful connections, encouraging collaboration and providing opportunities for businesses to engage with key decision-makers and industry leaders.
Renee believes one of BVB greatest strengths is its ability to connect businesses across towns, industries and sectors to create a stronger collective voice for the region.
Through regular meetings, networking events and business-focused initiatives, Renee hopes to encourage greater participation from businesses of all sizes and sectors, while helping to create conversations around innovation, workforce challenges, economic development, leadership and future opportunities for the region.

Renee Pearce is an experienced business leader, project manager and stakeholder engagement specialist with more than two decades of experience across States and Nationally.
Her professional background includes leadership roles in tourism, events, seafood, agribusiness and industry representation, including General Manager of Narooma Rocks and the Narooma Oyster Festival, along with senior positions in industry organisations and private business ownership.
Known for her collaborative approach and ability to bring people together, Renee is passionate about strengthening regional economies, supporting local business and creating opportunities that deliver long-term benefits for communities.
